On our last day in Paris we were uplifted by the Cathedral de Sacred Couer in Montmartre and delighted by Picasso’s paintings from his blue and rose periods at the Musee D’Orsay.

PARIS TO MILAN: DIFFERENT REALITY
A relaxing train ride took us to lively, lovely Milan, and an uncomfortable Airbnb.

A long, slow walk took us through many different exciting neighborhoods in Milan, to the Galleria and the Museum of Modern Art.
AND NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT: A LONG BIKE RIDE ALONG THE NAVIGLIO GRANDE
A totally different day…we went for a really long, fantastic bike ride along the Naviglio Grande, returning to the Navigli to be dazzled by white lights.
