Mostar is a divided city. We visited both sides, learning about the history, feeling the presence of the past in cobbled streets and bombed buildings.

Stairs, stairs, and more stairs. Hills, hills and more hills. We felt a bit like we were in a Dr. Seuss book based in Dubrovnik.

It was a long and enjoyable walk from Gruz to Lapad and the nature reserve there. Just what we needed…to slow down just a bit.
