MUNICH DAY THREE: ART AND FACTS IN THE CITY
A day visiting two extremely different museums, the Brandhorst with Cy Twombly and contemporary art; and the Nazi Museum loaded with hard historical facts.

We travelled from Munich to Vienna…to buildings that look like wedding cakes, high culture, and a introductory walking tour with Rick Steves.
THE BELVEDERE, VIENNA: KLIMPT AND KIKI
We thought we could see the Belvedere and go to another museum…no way. Most of the day at the Belvedere with Klimpt and Kiki Smith.
A WALKING DAY: VIENNA TWO
We made our own walking tour — Rick Steves would be jealous. The Augarten and Danube and a revisit to St. Stephens Cathedral and Demels.
FINALLY SOME WIENER SCHNITZEL: VIENNA DAY 3
A friend lives in Vienna and we visited her — so nice. Then to contemporary art museum, MUMOK, past a marching band and finally…weiner schnitzel!
