WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 7

The latest house related catastrophe — the huge freezer/frig in the pantry failed. We had to move all the food from here to Olive’s house. Fiona is a gourmet cook so there was lots of food. We moved our stuff into the tiny frig in the kitchen. Oh my. Who’d of thought…
Chloe isn’t feeling well. Mary has the flu. Is Chloe coming down with the flu? And we’ve agreed to care for Olive’s dogs, making a pack of five in total. Soon.

We walked the loop so we would be home when the refrigerator person arrived. That sucked because the day was gorgeous.

But I did take Saffi for an evening walk…in the sunshine…and we sat on the split overlooking the ocean, sniffing that sweet sea air together.
