We travel from Dublin to Cork by bus, then from Cork to West Cork in Fiona’s car. We have a memorable incident in Dublin!
The Story
ENTERING FIONA’S WORLD, BALLINATONA
Our first, very busy day in Ballinatona…feeding animals, walking dogs, meeting neighbors, and getting the lay of the land.
DAY TWO WITH FIONA
Fiona introduces us to Skibbereen, Castletownsend, Warren Strand (where we go for a walk), and Glendore (where we have dinner).

Our first day alone in Ballinatona and we take it easy…just the loop walk.

Our walk to Union Hall on a steep and gorgeous trail…mostly in photographs.

The day started with Saffi’s morning walk, then more exploring of trails in the area.

We ventured up the steep hill beside Lough Hyne Marine Nature Preserve, and watched a storm blow in across the sea.
