LOUGH HYNE AND THE FARMERS MARKET
From a long walk near Lough Hyne to the market in Skibbereen, we are enjoying walking and eating in Ireland!
RUINS, CASTLE AND SEA: CASTLEFREKE & LONG STRAND
Off to a new destination we’d heard a lot about — Castlefreke where we found church ruins, a castle on a hill and then made our way to an expansive beach, Long Strand.
TALES OF HISTORY AND LORE
We go on an afternoon walk filled with tales of history and local lore, learning from the locals!
A STONE FORT: KNOCKDRUM NATIONAL MONUMENT
After running round in circles, we found our way to the top of the world, the Knockdrum National Monument, a circular stone fort.
COFFEE AND U.S. POLITICS
We walk to Union Hall and hang out in the sunshine watching life in town. On our minds, the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation hearing.
FEELING AT HOME IN IRELAND
