WEDNESDAY, JUNE 12

After a quick look around downtown Ermoupoli (a great little city!), off to the Galissas beach we went. Same beach, better food for lunch, a great, long swim in the clear, turquoise water. From under the umbrella, I watched a patch of water shimmering like a thousand diamonds. A cliche for a reason.

I was so lazy (or relaxed) at the beach that I didn’t take photos. But I did take some on the bus back to Ermoupoli and then on our walk, up all those stairs, to Ano Syros.
