TUESDAY, MAY 7
It was a cold, uneventful Edinburgh day…of dog walks in the rain, computer solutions, and planning for our next steps. Mike, the computer guy, came by and set up the new computer. Tears followed as much was lost — all of Chloe’s edited travel photos! :(.
I went into Morningside, the posh neighborhood near us with lots of quaint and cozy coffee shops, hair and beauty salons, yoga and health food stores for humans and pets, and printed some of our upcoming bus and train tickets. I also grabbed some yummy eggs at Salt Cafe.
We organized the packing and shipping, or at least seriously started that process, and it was no small feat figuring out how to muster the strength to pack up our last warm clothes when we were freezing.
I’ve come down with a cold. Chloe moped about her computer…who wouldn’t?
The sunshine in all of this…Duffy. What an amazing dog!
