A long travel day from Ballinatona to Cork to Dublin to Edinburgh that involved cars, a bus, and a plane. So so sad to leave Saffi but ready for adventure…

EDINBURGH’S CASTLE, ART AND STARK NATURE
Walking over 15 kilometers, we managed to visit Edinburgh Castle, the Scottish National Gallery and the top of Arthur’s Seat in Holyrood Park.
DAY TWO OF THE GRAND EUROPEAN TOUR: EDINBURGH
Hard to believe the day could be any fuller than the day before…but it was. Modern Art Galleries, One and Two, City Art Centre, Laith Walkway, Dean’s Village, Royal Lyceum. Whew!
LEAFLESS TREES AND GOTHIC CEMETERIES
Another day of exploring Edinburgh — the Royal Botanical Gardens, neighborhoods and creepy Greyfriars Kirkyard cemetery.
EDINBURGH TO LONDON BY TRAIN
A restful day on the train from Edinburgh to London, and finding ourselves in council housing in the East End.
LONDON-CRAWLEY-EDINBURGH: ON THE MOVE
A full on travel day from London to Gatwick to Crawley to Gatwick to Edinburgh. Soon the Edinburgh house/pet sit begins.
