A day to find our bearings again…in a new city. And we found them through walking the streets and meeting friends.
LONDON SHOPPING & MEETING PATRICK’S SISTER
We made a new friend at the end of the day…but before that, Chloe saw a real prince. That made her very happy!
A VISIT TO THE TATE MODERN, LONDON
Half a day at the Tate revealed some surprises. The Turner Award winners were disappointing but the permanent collection has gems.
COVERING LOTS OF GROUND IN LONDON
We covered a lot of ground from Shoreditch to the National Gallery and the theatre in Trafalgar Square, ending the day with a great play by Arinze Kene.
OOPS! CRAZY IN CRAWLEY
We were all ready to leave the next day when surprised by new information (or at least new to us). We started calling our stay Crazy in Crawley.

Patrick takes us to Crawley for lunch — to help us deal with groundhog day, and we wait out our departure.
