The day started with Saffi’s morning walk, then more exploring of trails in the area.

LOUGH HYNE
We ventured up the steep hill beside Lough Hyne Marine Nature Preserve, and watched a storm blow in across the sea.
EMOTIONS, MY COMPUTER & THE BUTTER ROAD TRAIL
Emotions, figuring out our new situation, computer disaster, a walk though remote areas of Schull on the Butter Road Trail…another very full day.
A POTATO KIND OF DAY
The loop trail in reverse was followed by a visit to the Famine Exhibition at the West Cork Art Gallery in Skibbereen.
CHURCH BELLS & SAND
After visiting the computer repair store, we went to St. Patrick’s Church and then the last day of the Food Festival in Skibbereen. Then off to Warren Strand for a walk on the beach.
SLOWING DOWN JUST A LITTLE
We are tired from so many full days and go for a walk with Sally and her collie Rosie around the loop.
PUBS & HAIR SALONS
A long walk to Union Hall where we call the bank. Then a trip to Skibbereen and some time with sweet Mary at her hair salon.
