SATURDAY, DECEMBER 8
Our train left Marseilles early, stopping in Montpelier, where we changed trains for Barcelona. The first, French trains was quiet and comfortable. Between Montpelier and Barcelona, the sun was strong and outside dust clouded our vision.
Some protesters, about ten, blocked an entrance to the freeway of a small French town. Nime looked so lovely; it would be nice to return to France and spend some time in a smaller city. It was evening when we arrived in Barcelona.
